So one of the side lights on my Defender 90 recently packed in and today I eventually got around to replacing it. Problem is, after I put a new bulb in, said side light still doesn't work and now my headlights won't work either and a relay is making an annoying buzzing noise when I switch them on.

Other side light still works.

Any suggestions?

Dodgy ground? Otherwise the buzzing in relay doesn't sound too healthy, replace that and see what happens

Thing is, the headlights were working fine until I put the new sidelight bulb in. All I did was take the front cover off, replace the bulb and screw back in.

The only thing I can think is that when I reached in to grab the bulb clip for the side light holder maybe I inadvertently move a wire that created a dodgy ground. Too dark to do a lot about it now. :(
