Headlights-foreign travel

I'm going over tp France/Germany/Austria/ Switzerland and Italy in a months time and I'll be travelling day and night. When I went over before I used to use the plastic stick-on headlight converter which was ok for tempoary use, but a long journey perhaps something better could be used....any help????. Ive got a late 2004 Freelander deisel. I know on the latest version there is a switch on the headlights themselves but I dont think I've got that ...any suggestions...apart from drive in the daylight.

buy a set of lhd headlights but it'll cost you a foutune....stick to stickers if it was me
