Freelander 1 Headlight LED info?

Hi guys. Oops, gals too. Don't wanna be crucified for bein sexist, ya'll.
I'm looking to replace my headlight halogens/xenons with LED lamps instead.
Has anyone done this and what advice can you give me?
My truck is a 2005 FL 1, Td4, diesel, manual, M47 engine.

You can't, well you can but the lights will be hopeless and they'll fail the MOT.

The FL1 facelift reflectors aren't designed for LEDs, as the emmiters are much larger than the incandescent bulb filament. This leads to virtually zero beam control, resulting in light scatter all over the place, except where you want it. This will fail the MOT, produce poor lighting for you, and blind anyone coming in the other direction.

You're stuck with using better standard H7 bulbs I'm afraid.
