Headlight issues

Currently I have original sealed unit Lucas headlights, all good, until the drivers side gave up the ghost. Tested the unit with the meter, and it's dead. So, do I try to find a replacement, or upgrade to halogen, or go halogen housing with LED bulb, or go full LED? What have others done / recommend etc? Thanks in advance.

Cheapish and effective is the halogen upgrade. You may want to consider fitting relays to main and dip to look after the column switch.

Wipac Crystal lights work well on my 90. I should think they are available for series as well.

Second divie on fitting relays if upping the output of the lights.
