headlight help!

Hi everyone, I changed my headlights earlier today and now when my lights are on one is on full and one on normal and vice versa when on dipped beam. Anyone know which wire I have put in the wrong place?

do yu know which is the dipped beam setting?

what year is your defender?
what colour wires go to the headlight connector?

It's a 1990 110 2.5 200tdi

The drivers side lamp is a blue with red stripe , a blue with white stripe and a black earth from the main lamp

When on normal lights drivers side lamp is on full beam if that helps

Stupidly I asumed that the only colour coded wire there was ment to join the wire of the same colour
