One of my headlights are dimmer than the other one.

Can anyone tell me why?

I think that it might be a bad earth tho, where are the headlights earthed ?

Follow the black earth wires from all the lights on that wing, up to a bolt on the inner wing, it's blocked buy the wheel spat. I've never tried to do it with the spats on so I cannot comment if it's even possible. I would undo the bolt, clean up all the contact areas, refit then cover in grease.

Could also be those terrible rubber connectors on the back of the bulb. They tend to wobble off, if you're vehicle has them.

Always plugging one of mine back in, it's a right PITA.

Take a decent pair of pliers and carefully either slightly twist the blades on the bulb or squeeze the sockets in the rubber.

Fitted replacement bulbs think it might be the connect, going to get a new connector tomorrow, this one is awfully corroded i think. Will try that and see if it works.

To see if its the earth could i run an extra bit of cable from the earth bit on the bulb to landy body? If it works it would be a bad earth

That would do it. Quick and easy way to verify bad earth.
