I know this is a common topic but I wanted people's opinions rather than advice on fixing it...
The driver's side headlight on my Discovery 1 (300tdi) has a lot of water beads inside - presumably condensation. It's been like this a long time.
I've pull the lamp off today and given it a wash out and it's now sitting on a radiator drying out so will see how it goes.
Generally, though, how successful have people found it fixing this problem? Was it wasted time? A new headlamp is only £25 and I can get a s/h one off of Ebay for a few quid.
Presumably it's the seal failed where the two halves of the lamp are bonded together. I was thinking of trying silicon sealant inside the rubber ring seal.
