headlight bulb upgrade

Can anyone recommend a good headlight bulb and side light upgrade just want a bit more light out of them, there seem to be varying ones from H4 to H7 and i dont have a clue what that means. Fender 2001.

Halfords +125% H4 bulbs. Wait until they are on special cos they are pricey. They are often on buy one get one free.

I've got a set of osram bulbs in my 110 fitted to brand new crystal headlights and they are almost at the level of normal car lights!

Not sure how much the bulbs are though as they came in a disco that I broke!

Osram nightbreakers all the way. But get some new bowls as well to get the most out of them.

eBay was cheapest when i did mine.

These are mine, they were £46 with the led DRL's or £35 without, I just searched crystal headlights

I was looking at these!! Toying between these and these Angel Eye Headlights headlamp RHD H4 for Land Rover Defender 90 110 LED upgrade | eBay

Was thinking about the angel ones because your ones say they have a plastic lens? Are they any good? Would they stand up to much??

They seem tough enough to me, I do have a set of headlight guards to go on as well. I fitted a set of the angel eye ones to a friend of mines land rover and was pretty disappointed with the brightness of them to be honest, mine gives out as much light over a short range with the LEDs on as the dim dip does

I also just fitted the above with DRL….

20 minute install and they look amazing, pretty tough behind the grill so if something is hitting the grill its taking everything out..!

upgraded the bulbs at same time 'Osram' all the way

I got a pair of Ring Xenon Ultima H4 +120% bulbs for my 90 last week and fitted them to the standard headlights. I paid £13.85 on Ebay from a company called Auto Saver and I'm amazed at the difference! Highly recommended and the best thing I've bought for my Landy ever.
