So what's everyone's opinions on light guards? I got a set of front ones with tiny, I'm in two minds to fit them wife doesn't like them at all. Should I get a set of rears and fit them all or stick the fronts up on eBay?

If you're off-roading through bushes or your local supermarket car-park is more of a donkey derby then might be worth the hassle of fitting them. Down to you and your wife's taste otherwise.

Part of me thinks fit them as it uses the holes in the wings but like the clean look without but not the holes. I'm not up to filling and spraying the wings to get rid of the holes.

Fit them, shows its a man's vehicle.

Or fit them along with a phallic symbol on the roof. So when you hear people people saying, "Look at that dick" you can pretend they are not talking about your propensity to fit none required mods to prove your manhood. :D:D:D

My view is that unless you actually need them all you're doing is increasing the risk to pedestrians if you should accidentally hit one. Same goes for bull-bars, ****y spots etc.

#### pedestrians as the chance of hitting one is low, pedestrian friendly vehicles are much more likely to have bumper damage in normal use.
Plus chance of hitting.someone you know near zero.

Could I be the next Clarkson?

Well I take it there is little point in putting up a for sale add on here then but then again they will protect the lights when some old biddies zimmer frame goes flying hmmm

The bull-bars are soft! The proper ones anyway. They're covered in some sort of spongy stuff. Still don't like them myself but they might be softer to hit someone with.

The light guards are another matter!

I have the OEM ones on the P38 and they are plastic.

on the classic they are metal. but if someone was going to get run down by a classic, the light guards are not the issue its the flat front front couple of tonnes vehicle they are attached to.

I took mine off, wasn't difficult to fill the holes myself, and happy with the paint job from a halfords rattle can. There's a thread on here somewhere, and I'm still happy with results 2 or 3 years later.

They are useless and eat light - after removing then, i found out much better view at night driving.
:D
