head gasket

just doing the headgasket on a discovery td5 and was wondering if one headgasket is better than another ?
also i had to have head skimmed , before this it had the 2 hole gasket so which gasket would i be best using ~?
the same 2 hole gasket or use the 3 hole to reduce the compression ?

Did the head skim include recutting the valve seats? If yes stick to the same two hole gasket. If not I'd fit the three hole just to be sure there are no valve/piston interference issues.
