Hazard warning switch replacement

Hi, new to the forum, I've had an 02 freelander TD4 (70k on the clock when i took it on) now since April this year. A few niggles here and there, rear diff mounts naffed a soon as I drove it, VCU I think is tightening up as you turn bla bla bla, BUT.....anyone got a quick way to remove the hazard warning switch from the dash before I totally dismantle (break) the plastics? Which in my experiences in other mota's are one hit wonders.
