Hawkeye

Please can anyone confirm whether or not a HAWKEYE can communicate with TD5 BCU (fault finding and learning fobs etc.) and also with ACE as I have an intermittent ACE amber light problem. Thanks in advance

possible but i know for a fact John Patrick Francis Mulcahy cannot!

Dont think it can do the ace only the nanocom can do that and then only if its got the latest firmware.

it looks as if it does the ACE and some of the BCU ?? Email or give them a ring , Regards Jonathan

Fair enough, but according to the latest pdf brochure available on Bearmach.com it can do ACE as of update 4, due March 2010. I am curious what are the problems with this piece of Kit as I was intending to buy it myself very shortly . I thought it would be OK as it is manufactured by Omnitech and they did the Testbook /T4 stuff ?? Thanks Jonathan

Omitec are pony...ive had customers waiting for updates for months & when they arrive they dont do what theyre sposed to!
Agreed T4 is the exception but I could get a Hawkeye at cost if i wanted but would rather pay extra for a Nanocom
