Hi all,
I've had a Hawkeye V5 for about a year now and though useful, I feel I should/ could be doing more with it. For instance - just ran the Motronic live data on the car..... and didn't understand most of what it was telling me! I've asked Bearmach if they have a more indepth guide to it (you know: when to used this part , results should look like this)- but the new manual was it?
I'm probably not be the only one out here with this problem.
Would the more technically adept of you mind responding to this with some ' and this is used here and means this...' kind of stuff so anyone in my situation can start to use the diagnostic to its full capacity? Might like to also add your knowledge on the Faultmate as well.
Thanks very much

I've recently bought a faultmate extreme for my l322

I'm still learning about all its features, there's a hell of a lot of stuff it can do !

I think it's the most sophisticated of all the diagnostics out there or near a close to the real thing ... IE Landrovers T4 system

Landrovers T4 & the Faultmate extreme are worlds apart.

I constantly frequent garages who have the T4 because they can't get to the problem.
Most of the time i can achieve where T4 failed by using Blackbox's oldest diagnostic system that was made years ago. The faultmate is in a completely different league.
It's so simple to use, & when you get to now what it can achieve, it's amazing.

yep, Well i have no real experience of the T4 stuff, but from using the faultmate it certainly is easy to use. and its done everything Ive wanted it to do and more

iv forgotten about the price i paid for it now :S lol
