Hi , I m still trying to figure out TC , ABC problems , now I found a new one , when the truck isn t moving I can read live values in slabs ecu with hawkeye but when I try reading while truck moving it only takes a few seconds to disconnet screen saying no connection etc. I wonder if anyone has encounter something like this with slabs ecu . Voltage , truck engine running , reaching slabs appears to be 12.5 to 12 . 6 is this normal? Thank you

Hi this oddity happens with nanocom too while it shouldnt but IMO it's something with the ECUs protocol as it "considers" that above 9.4mph(15km/h) it's out of the diagnostic mode that's why the ABS light stays on alone untill that speed then goes out after a sensor fault was rectified while the other two from 3 amigos are out from start. IIRC i was able to read wheel speeds above that threshold only with the old(first generation) hawkeye, nanocom cuts out, is your's the hawkeye total?

Anyway, you can't do anything against that so better explain what's your problem maybe i can help

Hi same old story 2000 disco 2 3 amigos even with brand new shuttle valve and plan b in place I have also changed to a slabs ecu from a 2003 now . I erase faults and abs light goes off but TC and downhill decent stay on . Over time abs light comes back and hawkeye point to shuttle valve fault. There is one thing though abs light comes back only when I switch on the ignition key never when the truck is moving. Im starting to think it s all about harness or connectors,, not my strong point . Thanks

BTW, some video or forum tutorials are wrong as they splice into the switch pack's and connector's wiring instead of cutting the wires which in case of an internal short in the modulator will bring the fault in parallel with new circuit so the whole thing is uselsess, the correct way is like in the attachment just that you can omit that connector and connect the wires directly, one to earth and the other to the YG wire toward the ECU(this one must be cut too)
