Hi folks,
Right I've got an 03 freelander td4, someone had taped over 3 amigos, managed to find a hawkeye unlocked for freelander 1 with abs dongle, brilliant plugged it in for abs and told me front left abs sensor is screwed, no problem I'll get that sorted..........problem is EML is also on, can't work out how to read what it is!!!!
I go to engine menu and the only thing that seems to connect is "MS43"........but when i click read codes it just says "not available", in fact whatever I click on that menu it says not available.
Bearmach have said they no longer offer support so any of you lovely lot got any ideas???

You'll get more response if you post in the Freelander section of the forum.

However with a permanent MIL, you want to look for a bad connection, or unplugged sensor first. The MAF sensor is a common one to unplug, as they degrade over time and limit power output. Unplugging the MAF restores power, but puts the MIL on. Sometimes a faulty MAF will also put the MIL on, but unplugging is more common.

Cheers pal, new on here didn't realise I'd put it in wrong place , don't think anything's unplugged it just randomly popped on one morning lol
