Have I fitted this right? (Steering guard)

Just fitted a terrifirma steering guard but it seems quite far away from the steering arms? I used the bottom bumper mount bolts, steering box bolt and the spare mount on the chassis?

I couldn't find any pics of the same guard to compare

its to stop you hitting things head on or just driving straight into rocks etc

I seen a few others and they all seem closer to the steering arms, mine seems quite far away! Might just be me, I'm quite sure I fitted it right!

Looks about right, I had one given to me an ally one and it is much the same, some do get closer but not by much as you have to be mindful of the steering arm rising and dropping as the axle articulates.

Didn't think of the articulation, I had to sort of guess when fitting as it had no instructions, but seems right to me just needed a second opinion so thanks
