I think this is the main reason they keep setting up in new names ,such a shame they can't all get together ,be good if someone put a facebook page together so we could all add on it ..

My experience with this Image 4x4 Hull´s company has been a real disaster. I made a big mistake: Ordered a Defender from Spain. I did it on Sept 2017, and was delivered on Oct 2018, without a legal invoice. Image 4x4 didn´t hold a legal VAT number by that time. For 5 months, time they took to obtain that VAT number and send me a new invoice, I was not able to start registering procedure and to insurance the car, so I had to park the car and wait for the legal invoice mentioned.
After all these, when I went to Spanish authorities to obtain the final plates, and pas what we call the ITV exam, I had to modify and repair the engine, and pay extra GBP 4000 workshop invoice to fulfill the EU specs. Everything was rubbish, brakes, direction, heat system, .... believe me: Everything!
I did finally obtain the plates on August the 20th of this current 2019 year! Almost 2 years since ordered.
Really very bad experience. I feel scammed. GBP 32000 paid for rubbish. I am conscious and for me has been a scam, a fishy deal.
Communication was excellent the first month and during payments were transferred. After that, no holding the phone, lies after lies, delays,....

Yet another one who had had a nightmare with this company ,losing count now ,.
We are still wondering how the guy got on who was due to receive his 2 months ago as he also was having nightmares .
Something needs to be done ,as we speak they will be taking thousands of pounds of customers ,they respond until money has been paid then all fails from what a lot of these customers are saying ,a facebook is needed to be set up so people can leave reviews ,can anyone set one up ?? Could just be as a 4x4 enthusiasts page where we can all leave comments ,so people don't have to go through this nightmare ....

Also this is public knowledge image 4x4 was liquidated years ago ,
But they are still trading in that name on facebook and there other page ,
No wonder you had no VAT receipt , one for the inland revenue i would say ,obviously upto no good ,.
And likes of yourself are the ones who have to pay for this misfortune ,

Okay so since they stopped trading and were, in the eyes of the law at least, liquidated. What’s stopping us making a site that exists purely to pull attention towards them being a band of cocksnafflers?
Would be great idea if anyone knows how to set one up ,and like you say pulling attention towards them ,..

Could be easily done by nearly anyone these days. Wix do easy template based website building. The hardest thing would be making it come up in search results first.
Must be someone on here who could do a page on facebook where it is easy to access ,, ? As most of these people being ripped off on here are only finding this forum after ,and facebook is to a wider audience..

Thanks for your words. Just wanted to highlight my bad experience, my nightmare. I worked in the UK as a doctor linked with professional football, being my best working experience in my life so far. When I came back to Spain due to familiar reasons decided to buy a Landy, and I did it after finding casually this guy in Facebook from Spain. The rest overall is resumed in my previous text. It has been fishy since the process started but as my experience in the UK was so good and trustful with everyone I met or I worked with, that never thought this would happen. Never expected. This is not a matter of being brave, it´s only and simply my personal experience: Needed to spend a lot of money with Image 4x4, with the workshop here for registration, needing to homologate the whole car because of its deficiencies and defects, all the paperwork requested, solve all matters from a first invoice without the compulsory VAT and for that looking for an English VAT specialist help as well as the advice of the football club lawyer, the second invoice, all documents, problems with the keys, everything involved with the engine, brakes, direction....etc.
Believe me: It has been almost 2 years of a continued nightmare and feeling stupid as presuming I was being scammed. And I think I was.

No, I think you are brave. Many people would be too embarrassed to say they have been scammed. Because you have added to this thread, you will be helping save others who are Googling Image 4X4 to find out if they are good and trustworthy. Obviously, they are horrible, thieving, parasites.
I hope it hasn't changed your positive opinion of us over here.
