Has anyone dealt with Image 4x4 before?

Hi,

I'm currently looking into buying my first Defender, although from my time in the Army it won't be my first exsposure to them. I've come across a company (IMAGE 4x4) based in Hull that specialises in the customisation of Defenders.

I've done some research online and can't seem to find much on them other than a couple of Google reviews which don't really help.

If anyone has or knows anyone that's had dealings with them I'd love to know if they are a reputable company.

Never heard of that company, I would recommend finding a company local to yourselves and knowing exactly what you want done to it.

Never heard of them, but looking through their website pics seems to say 'kahn lookalike' or ****e off-road. As such I'd steer well clear ..

On a more positive note, I'd echo @neilly and suggest you buy closer to home where it'll be easier to get comeback if necessary, though I guess that also depends on what you want a Landy for.

as others have said its a minefield out there however homework homework homework and good luck in your hunt,
and if you can take a decent spannerman or landyman, so much the better.

I call BULLSHIT .. Your very first post on a new forum is a reply to a post asking for views on a company no-one already 'here' has so far heard of? Seems fishy to me ... which also says that image 4x4 and even the original post, might be a bit fishy, simply looking to promote a company nobody knows.

.. and not in a decent cod and chips fishy way ..

Swot I thought ... Give 'em a few hours to reply then I'll report the posts as spam. I believed the first post, but the second calls it into question especially as both are from newcomers ..

I’ve heard of them, and I’ve got them on Facebook but that’s about it. I’ve no experience or anything. I merely follow them as I would like to build custom land rovers or modify land rovers for peoples needs in the future.

I did notice on the E reg one they posted a couple of weeks back, someone had commented saying they bought one and found out it had been clocked a few months down the line. I don’t know any more details than that unfortunately
