Hard brakes !!

the brakes on my 93 Disco are hard and it takes more effort to stop. they seem ok most of the time , but then they feel hard at the pedal other times. anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it ??

if you press brake pedal hard then switch engine on still pressing pedal ,pedal should sink a little as engine creates vacuun in servo if servo and vac pump and pipe are okay

You've got a faulty servo, vacuum pump or vacuum leak.
