Your right there, Sunday morning and not out of bedNot out of bed yet I would bet
Nice to have a useful pressie
Thats going to be an expensive present then, even more next yearI'm still waiting for the Porsche 911 i asked for twenty five years ago. Tight gits my lot are.
The question is, was it stuff they like or stuff you like?My lot got me booze and chocolate. They know me so well. I just need to hide it before they eat and drink it themselves like they did last year.

You can only live in hope Tony
How many toys do you need my good man!!! '38, L322, 928... This is starting to look like a code...I already have a rare as hens teeth manual 928 but the lad has nicked it from the garage and put in one of his storage units and replaced it with a Golf he and his lad are going to use all my tools and electric to do up.
And... I got pancakes for breakfast and I'll get maigre de canard tonight.....You got a present?! For Father's Day?
I got to make scrambled eggs this morning. Mind you, the missus did cook a rather nice lamb joint last night.
I count myself lucky: when my mate's daughters come around it is just a case of how long until they ask if they can "borrow" some money.

That sounds like an after thought.. "did anyone consider the bulb when they need to change it"Best one to play with is my Countax K18 lawn tractor, at least i can sit down to work on that. Got a radio screen to repair on the L322 and a instrument panel bulb. Good job the radio readout is duff as what a bloody job it is removing the dash top just to change a bloody backlight bulb.
Yes, hence they made the dash top removeable, and it's easy iirc. That sounds like an after thought.. "did anyone consider the bulb when they need to change it"
Yes dead easy but a pain in the arse just to replace a bulb. I have never taken a vehicle to a garage for repair in my life, i have always done them myself. But there are those who cannot. So what are we saying, an hour and an half at £120.00 per hour at a dealer for a bloody backlight bulb. That is crazy.Yes, hence they made the dash top removeable, and it's easy iirc.
I can't honestly remember how long it took, but what you suggest seems plausible.Yes dead easy but a pain in the arse just to replace a bulb. Given the the year that the L322 went into production, all the dash lights should have been LED. Wouldn't suit the dealers though.I can't honestly remember how long it took, but what you suggest seems plausible.
With on the crazy bit though, and I too do all my own repairs, although I much prefer a spanner than a multimeter.
