handbrake rattle!?

my handbrake drum? keeps rattling in neutral dis engaged.
its not the cable,i dont think but due to my location, i have to be quite sure what it is before i get under it!
sound familiar??

i had a annoying rattle from my handbreak and it was the linkage cotter pins(the things that split pins go through) i wrapped elastic bands round them and it sorted the problem

whats the problem with your location that stops you getting under it?..are you in the north sea?

Make sure you have the plastic cups that the cotter pins go in usually they are missing, Jai

cover all the pins etc with grease. Works a treat

its just stopped mine from rattling.
