can anyone tell me how to tighten the handbrake, MOT is next week and I'm sure it's a fail at the mo.

its a 2003 1.8 petrol station wagen

cheers

I don't know if its the same but on my TD4 on the back of the centre console there is a small panel say 3inch by 7inch that you can take off and then you can see the cable and nut. simply twist nut with a spanner until its in the right place.
For an MOT i think it is 3 clicks up to hold the car and no more than 6, but i maybe wrong just remember reading about it on here somewhere.
Hope this helps.
