What's the best hand cleaner, because every time I wear gloves they split and I finish up with as much crap on the inside as on the outside!

Swarfega/Tufnega have their limitations!

Gentlemen and ladies, I look forward to your comments! :praise:

deb lime with the bits in it is at work, and it gets everything off,

but swarfega and tufanagea ive found just takes a bit of time, hot water and about 3 goes u shud be laughing :)

I find the products by Stoko - SOLOPOL and NEOPOL - are superb!

My colleagues & I use them every day in work as well as when we habitually tinker with a variety of cars, tractors, steam rollers and other assorted machinery - they remove anything & everything plus they are solvent free and contain a moisturiser to keep your hands in top notch condition.

One very satisfied user.

i use brake cleaner in a spray bottle, melts all the ****e off nicey , then if yer poofy yer can wash them again with washing up liquid or hand wash to soften them up ,

.......gloves?

gloves are either thin so they rip , or thick so you cant feel what yer doing and end up dropping little bits on the gravel drive or in the grass...... about the only time i wear them is doing an oil change.

Try nitrile gloves rather than latex, or before you start rub a squeeze of washing up liquid into your hands and under your nails until it dries this acts as a barrier cream.

Washing-up liquid mixed with salt, followed by a sponge scourer for the stubborn bit's (does'nt trash your hand's like metal scourer's!).

I've always used washing up liquid and washing up powder. mixed. Granted you gotta grit your teeth a bit when scrubbing but it does the trick!

Many thanks to all of you for your comments.

I can now get my delicate digits back to being as clean and soft as they were when I was all at sea!

"All the nice girls love a sailor
All the nice girls love a tar
All the nice girls love a sailor
'Cause they know what sailors are
Bright and breezy
Slips in easy" ... etc
