Bottom line; convince them you are an engineer. I used my RAF identity card and glossed over the fact that I was a pilot rather than an engineer. We still study engineering after all.

    Good purchase. Decent warranty too.

We’ll have to have a tool box thread to show our tool boxes off!

I applied on-line & when I went into the store to validate my card they asked for proof of business - just showed them one of the biz debit cards and that was it. I haven't worked on cars for 30 years so I had to start from scratch. Black 5 tray advanced tool chest on wheels, 200 piece socket set (at the £130 price) and a whole basic tool kit. Spent about £500 in the end. Trade card gave useful discounts - just compare trade discount to sale price & mix & match your purchases to take the best offers. Thought I might have gone overboard but I've used pretty much everything at least once now.

I bought another one of these, great for the money, no brainer for £85.
