Hi
I've read a lot of posts on here about Haldex problems so hope someone can advise
2011 LR2 ES with only 12000 miles
The fault is that the transmission warning comes up after engine start
Friend got a fault code of U0437 which says... Invalid data received from the rear differential control module
Where do I go from here?
Local garage that specialises in 4X4s says £275 for a Haldex flush and software update
Another garage says £175 for a Haldex service
Main dealer says £2349 for a new unit!
Could it be as simple as a broken wire?

The Haldex control ECM is actually bolted to the side of the Haldex casing. The control module is susceptible to water ingress and the wiring susceptible to impact damage from road debris if you're unlucky.
Have you checked the Haldex fuse? It's fuse FB6 in the boot fuse box, it's rated at 15A.

It'll have the latest software, or should have, unless it's not been to an LR dealer since 2015, when the last software release was implemented.
However it would or should still function just fine with the old software release, if it's not been to a dealer.
It's sensible to have the filer and fluid changed, or do it yourself, but that won't cause the code you're getting.

Hi
Sorry for the delay in posting
Never managed to get rid of the transmission fault warning, except for a couple of days when all off road modes worked but then an engine fault amber warning appeared and the transmission fault came back
Just has if serviced and Mot and opted for a haldex flush which seems to have cured it so far!
