gutless 300tdi

hello i put some 265/75/16 insa turbo sharas on my disco and it seems to have rendered it gutless! now i have heard that you can get a low ratio transfer box to compensate, i just wondered if anyone on here had done this?

Think I have an idea what I need to do, that thread is pretty good. Only thing I can't work out, the anti tamper plug thing, do I just break some of it off with a hammer and screwdriver?

If you're careful it's possible to lever it at the edges and ease it out in a good enough state to refit but most with tweaked pumps are driving around without them
