Hi all
Can any one answer this for me please ?
I was traveling back the other week when strange gurgling noises started to come from the heater block area. I did usual stuff like flush the water system and changed the clogged up slightly thermostat which I thought would cure it
Then it happened again? Silly as it sounds to me could it be the ac as the gas is low I believe causing this noise?
Regards
Paul

I've got the same noise from mine, going to change the thermostat this week. I was worried it could be the start of a head gasket or a cracked head.

After bleeding, I can leave it at idle for hours, and all is well. But raise the revs to 2000, and the gurgling starts. Never seems to pressurise the top hose, no signs of overheating, no water in oil, no fuel in water, no loss of coolant (much)

Anybody else seen this before?

See, I'm just learning about the quirks of these rigs and when I remember what I've read here about said gurgles it is that it is often a symptom of HGF. But I didn't want to be the one to say it. Of course, driving many Landies is a symptom of a HGF. :D
