Hi everyone, I have just signed up to your fantastic forum having just taken delivery of my new P38 4.0 Range Rover. I'm living in the Falkland Islands at the moment, being half way through a 2 year tour of duty with the RAF. I have a 200tdi Disco as well which has a lift kit, alloys, winch and snorkel, and is fantastic for, as they say here, "**** tracking". The main road between the airbase where I live and Stanley the Capital, is made of compacted gravel which makes for interesting driving when both wet and dry. I bought the RR purely for driving the road as the Disco was shaking itself to bits doing the trip every weekend.
I must say that I have fallen in love with the RR and it's silky smooth ride. There are a few tiny snags to sort with her, nothing major though and I got her for a great price in the UK. The only problem was that it took 6 weeks between buying her to her arriving on our resupply ship, it was worth the wait though.
Anyway, I have bored you all enough. I'm looking forward to becoming an active member of the forum and would love to hear from any of you.
