After scouring my OS map have found a possible lane for me to attempt. Just North of Lydford in Devon and it comes out near Lake.

Anybody got insider info that I should be aware of?

Gonna go see if I can find the entrance today and just check to see if it is a registered BOAT checked it online and it all checks out.

Any info would be greatly appreciated:)

If you are referring to the Byway that is shown across Fernworthy Down, then you have an old OS Map, the current OS Maps now show that this has been changed to a Footpath :frown:

There is a BOAT that has been fairly recently upgraded from a footpath at this area. i will dig out the grid refs for you as it is a fair length lane, keep meaning to get up that way on my m/bike yo check it out.

Thank you for your up to date findings. Just spent christmas camping on the moors so had a look on my way to Bearslake for a meal yesterday and yes it is quite easy to drive one or two trough's and two small fords if you keep going toward the Sourton end.
Also found a site you might like www.wetroads.co.uk lists both normal and Byway Fords :D
