Greenlanes Dorset?

This site Trail riding on Green lanes in Dorset - the map has maps and routes for all the green lanes round this area. (buggy in IE but ok in firefox) The ford at Moreton is fun this time of year and scary in winter !

hiya
we're members of solent and district landrover club, and we go greenlaning somewhere in hampshire/wiltshire/dorset on the last sunday of the month. the club's website is sadlrc.co.uk. membership is £20 a year (i think) and we pay about £8 per green lane event for the clubs insurance etc.
while it's not essential to go with a club, they have recce'd the lanes before we go, so know what's suitable for the vehicles, and you've got more people to pull you out ofyou get stucklol i usually go laning in standard sally, so getting stuck is par for the course, and my son's favorite bit is always the bit when we needed rescuing!lol
i've just noticed they've changed the next event to the 3rd october, which is a bit if a bastard as was using the event to get out of going to a wedding!lol
you can join forum without being a member and then join up at anevent. apparently they are going to the DAFT show at burley... whatever and whenever that may be i don't know.

apparently we are going to the DAFT organised NOOBIES run ... whatever and whenever that may be i don't know yet - but i will post when I organise the next one.

Clubs are afilliated with a govening body like the Motor sports accossiation (msa) and any organized event must be properly done such as insurance etc.
Landy zone doesnt actually organise events we as individuals do and just invite others along.
