green laning yorkshire

hi people, new to all this, does anybody know of any lanes near the north yorkshire area, going to do some reaseach with my local council as to whether there are any lanes open/closed in my area, as i dont want to be getting in trouble with any authorities/land owners, ive managed to find some grid refrences for lanes in the dales but aren't too sure whether these will be closed now, i would really appreciate any info or help to get me going, also where can i get hold of a good o.s map with clear indications of greenlanes on, any help or if you can point me in the right direction to get going i would really appreciate this many thanks joe

Iv just been down to Moors for the weekend. was excelent. didnt have any trouble and didnt notice any signs saying they were closed.
if your going to see the council you wont have any problems.

watch what your doing in and around the Wykeham Forest though. some realy trickey stuff down there.

Land ranger maps I use and WH Smiths have them in.
