Hi all,
we have fixed a date for our next green laning around north wales.
This will probably be our last time for a while. We both have touring caravans and use them from easter until September, most week-ends.
Some of you have been out with us before, some of you are new to green laning, All are welcome to come along.
This not a paid event, we are not a organization, you only need decent boots on 4x4, some grub and a flask, tank of fuel.
We do this for fun, you do not have to follow or go where don't fancy, but we will help you out if unsure.
we don't charge and we try to keep it non damaging but difficult.
All the lanes are legal green lanes.
as this is a free event, we will not make u sign wavers, BUT we will not be held responsible.
You will have a good time and put your 4x4 through its paces.
Check this link out. we are in 110 csw. Snorkel diff/steering guards, winch, and all AT boots, No lifts and no big modifications.
11th March is our planed next day out.
Let me Know if you want to join us. No more than 6/Max

Yes i will see you at 10ish in the morning. Car park easy enough to find? Will have my cameras with me.

Dave thanks for showing us around today, enjoyed it very much, see you on the next one hopefully. PM sent.

Having just spent an enjoyable day in North Wales following sd001c4877 around I thought I would let you know what has been done to my Disco to go greenlaning - Nothing. The only thing different from standard is a set of BFG AT's and that is it. Yes it did bottom on the diffs a few time but only on soft ground and the tow bar hit a few times but that was it, the only damage/loss is one rear mudflap and some light scratches/scrapes (which should polish out) that was caused by some gorse bushes. I may for the next run (funds permitting) fit some 235/85 x16" AT's, but if not it shall be the same again. So where are the rest of you? As the saying goes "one life live it"

got photos brilliant it took about 4 or 5 goes and lots of noise from gearbox it was easier in the wet last week youl have to give it a go next time that tracks called allt y badi thanks dav.

Yes that was us in a Disco and Rangie, needed to move on as there was a lot of miles to cover. Hope the hinge was fixed ok, we thought that you had a flat as the spare tyre was on the ground.

No problem

It was us, the spare tyre was an extra one, the tool kit been under it. The wind caught the door and ripped off he thing which stops the door crushing the wing. The top hinge had dropped so needed a sledge hammer to bang it back, didn't quite work so 3 of us lifted the door up, in the end got it to shut.

It was a pleasant day nice weather meet another group coming up the V- gully as we came down so took a few minutes to sort that out.

Noticed you did the batty up or down ? we went down, had been told by a previous group the woman at the bottom has started to block the lane again with her car, but we did not find it blocked.
