green laning on salisbury plains

Great day on the plains today albeit on my own with my daughter, bumped into a few motorcross fellows and had a chat with one ot them and a warden on sidbury hill(nice chap) think they were chasing after some quad bike but without much luck.
lovely day, didnt attempt anything extreme as was by myself.

hope u didnt venture onto sidbury hill?


and whats rule number one of laneing??

Had a fun morning pootling round a few lanes today on the plains and around the racecourse. Saw a group of kids arsing about on pit bikes behind the race course, and laughed heartily at their futile attempts to pull one of them out of an off piste mud hole. I could have lent them the use of my Tirfor, but as they were being ****s, and shouldn't have been there in the first place, I though I would let them struggle

is sidbury hill part usually open or chalk pit have promised to take me daughter up there for a tinker about

Im planning a trip mid November to do some of the lanes around salisbury as a reccee for working a route out for new years day has any one got any good sugestions of lanes or river crossings to add in?

Marshalls are pretty polite and i had no problems.
Is anyone going on the plains this weekend? if so I would'nt mind tagging along, I have all the maps (military marked up).:clap2:

I have a sugestion "buy a map and read it" it will tell you evrything you need

Disco is out of tax and new springs arnt what i hoped for
