You could not have been more wrong. The lanes you strive to preserve were there long before you were aware of them. I remember the days before fools showed them to anybody they met on the internet. A lot less lane closures in those days.

Like i said, thats how it sounds when ive read it back the last 3 times.

Im not doubting your laning credentials, or anything like that fella, and youve obviously been "at it" alot longer than me. When i show lanes to "people i meet on the internet" i think about the lanes i am showing them and i consider the implications.

I think to myself that "maybe these people just want the information so they can go back and rip them up later" Thats why i only do the sustainable lanes with a hardcore surface with people i dont know. We cant stop people hooning around the countryside giving us a bad name but we certainly can try and "educate" people. If taking people out for a day of responsible laning achieves that then thats brilliant, if not then i havent given them any more information than they could find on the internet.

Totally agree with all you say but it doesn't excuse the comments made after the "encrypted" post I made. A few days ago I read you comment on someone having a Disco was better than having a "Gaylander". I didn't come on and accuse you of being homophobic.

lets draw a line under it shall we...an ambiguous post, a misunderstanding arose
it was cleared up, and then it got a bit snippy. Lets not spoil a good day and a lets celebrate in still having a good pastime shared by us all :)

It definitely does im afraid, and im not the only one, sometimes you have to admit your wrong. Which is ok. Like i said im not saying your a bad person or questioning your ethics as a human being. But what you wrote sounded like you were condoning something i didnt think was right. I mentioned it, you retorted, and here we are. :)

To understand the "gaylander" thing you would have to spend some more time in the forum. You'd have to call alot of people homophobic as well.

im not interested in this anymore, im more interested in if my football team signs a holding midfielder. im done.

cheers :)

A fair description of events. Something and nothing really. Hope I'd have the minerals to apologise though if it had been me

Quick to judge
Quick to anger
Slow to understand

Ditto to be honest. Am hoping Lukaku opts for us rather than the Toffees.

Anichebe and Sessegnon is not a bad days business though and finally getting rid of Odem-whinge-alot as well.

meanwhile my team signs Fellani for 3.5 million quid more than we paid for robin van persie last season.

He will be worth every penny. Awseome player. Everton won't be as strong without him. I apologise for some of the things I have said but in my defence, after an innocent (though missleading) comment I felt some of the responses were a bit uncalled for and ****tish.

Like i said, its how it sounded. im sure your a nice chappie.

Stick, wrong end of. :D

Petmcn will vouch for me. I took him and his pals out and did 24 lanes in a day. We stopped for every hiker, biker and horse rider we came across. Closed every gate we opened and kept to the legal tracks. Irony is that I have just been browsing 2 current threads where one is planning to get stuck up a lane on purpose to learn recovery techniques and another where some guys went down lanes where winching was the only way through and no one has said a thing about it all but signing up and saying it looked good fun!!!!
