Hi,

Had to do away with my air box and use a 'green' (k and n) style filter as the root my old pipe kept shredding the alternator belt. 200tdi conversion from 19j. I made a tee so the turbo pipe and breather pipe fit as the air box and then the filter fits the other end of the steel flange.

Having driven the the car 10 miles (the turbo i can hear for the first time ever) oil has blown out of the rocker...crank case and oil cyclone.

Engine pressure to high? Anyway i can fix without going back to the original? Is there a engine breather somewhere that might be blocked?

cyclone on side of rocker box is breather, remove filler cap and see if it breathes, your not using turbo boost pipe that goes to injection pump and wastegate actuator as part of breather system ,pipe from cyclone just needs to feed back to suction side between turbo and filter

Cyclone is feeding into the suction side...as was...do you think the increased turbo pressure is pressurising engine hence causing leaks? Should i strip the cyclone?

i proberly misunderstood about what you meant as turbo pipe.no increased boost to manifold wont pressurise crankcase unless rings ,bores worn or broken

Just hang the pipe to atmosphere and take it for a drive if engine okay its a problem with your pipe set up, have you used to small a t piece this would cause a restriction.
