RAVE specifies NLGI grade 2 lithium grease for the prop-shafts. Last time I did this a friend in a garage kindly let me have use of his grease-gun and some top-quality grease. Unfortunately that's no longer an option so I'm going to have to source the stuff myself.
I like the idea of having the grease in a tube that I can just lever straight into the grease gun so was looking at something like this: Comma GR2400 400g Multi-Purpose Lithium Grease: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike
However, I cannot see the NLGI grading. I'm also a little uncertain how NLGI grading compares to EP ratings. EP0, EP00, EP000, EP1, EP2 ... the list continues!
Given what the UJs and prop-shafts go through I want to make sure the stuff I pump in there is right so could someone point me in the right direction for lithium NLGI-2 grease?
Cheers,
J
