I have recently purchased a 1999 1.8 5 door Freelander.
I really wanted a diesel, but this seemed a good buy with only 53,000 miles on the clock.
I guessed that I might have a problem with the head gasket, but that seems OK. No oil in the water or water in the oil. But I AM STILL LOOSING WATER.There doesn't seem water loss through the water pump.
Has anyone experienced water loss through the inlet manifold?
The radio doesn't work- No sound, but I think there should be an amplifier in the rear well- cables there but no amp.
