Disco 1 Got wrong injector pump . Damn

Can any one tell me what the 1st picture ( one with the small collar) is from? I got it from ebay asa 300tdi injector, but it is wrong where the flange bolts onto the engine
Bit stuffed now as mine is out (second pic).

a si have to buy another one now i think i'll go down the mechanical route ,

I would just like to know what it's from so i can put it back on to Ebay and hopefully get some of my money back.

Rover 220/420 2.0D

Y don't you just tell the seller it's wrong and you want your money back?

As stated above , "item not as discribed" money back plus your return postage, but how did the seller discribed the item?
I suspect it takes a long time to sell a injector pump for that model of Rover on eBay.
There are not many Rover cars about now so u could be stuck with.... it if you don't return it back to the seller.

The problem is i have had it on my shelf for about 5 months , it was described as
LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 300 TDI AUTO EDC INJECTOR PUMP VGC

so i can't really prove it was wrong as i've had it for so long

Could be difficult, you could try contacting the seller? "If you’ve changed your mind or made a mistake, you can still request a return, but please be aware that the seller isn't obliged to accept your return" according to eBay.
They may have mixed up their parcels and a Rover owner received your pump and then returned it and had his refund... who knows.
You could tell them the item is incorrectly described, (and if you still can) you will be opening a case on eBay.
Depending on what was wrong, you may be able to change over the internal gubbins into your original pump.
Worse case, you will have to list it back on eBay and see what happens.

Fair enough, save it for a couple of decades and when people start restoring rover 220/420 diesels you can cash in then.

There's a EDC injector pump on eBay at the moment at £99.95, so not something that's left of the shelf just in case.

Well i have put my New ( well to me) pump on, that was a easy job
Runs like a dream. So far ....

Only thing i find is from cold Dorris doesn't start as easy, needs a few cranks to get her going. but that is from dead cold , tried her last night before i went to work and this morning, But apart from that so far so good.
