whats the best anti theft of a pikey wagon by said pikeys whilst parked with and attached to car?

i'm not sure 700 quid caravans are on the desired list of pikeys and there's no shiney bits to attract em but i'd rather get into the habit early on and not get complacent!

dont want to park at the services and be lighter by a good few kilo's after poppin for a poo!

no road tax either to pay!!! you should be hung drawn and quatered!! how long do you get to drive in the uk without bieng forced to obtain a uk car and pay tax? might be worth a punt!

Get yourself a good hitchlock so the caravan can't be removed from the car without unlocking. Pikeys over here love old caravans:eek:

You used to be able to run in the UK on French plates for 12 months but it may have changed. In France you get 6 months to change the plate but if you can get insurance no one seems to check. There are Brits running around with UK plates that they have had for 5 years! Suppose the same might apply in the UK and the French MOT lasts 2 years:D

You can get simple hitch locking devices which you can clamp and lock over the hitch when you leave your van / car for about £30 or so. Basically box steel which fits over the hitch and then locked on with a good quality lock. You can't drive with most of them on, though, and need to remember to remove them when you set off from the services again.

Alko do locking hitches - you can replace your original hitch with one of these although they are expensive. These can be locked onto your tow hitch and used while driving. :D

i think i might just tie the staffy to the caravan, he's a nasty bastard so would bite the hands of them pikeys!

not sure if i will forget to untie him tho so might be best to get a lock or hide in the van with a 12 bore!!!

how about this set up ?

Call yourself Pikeys...not a milk churn, Transit van, burnt out cars or a fire to burn the insulation off nicked electric cable in sight.
Suppose you will all be at the annual Pikey bash at Stow on the Wold next year:hysterically_laughi
