hopefully this wont jinx the whole car, but he we go


after 2 weeks ive finnally finished the head gaskets, stuck for 4 days with a broken rocker shaft bolt, then another day while the main stealers got mea new one (had to by 5 ?????), started her up and she purrs away lovely, no water dripping anywhere :D:D. took her for a 10 mile run on mixed roads and temp gauge has not moved from the middle :D:D.

thanks to you all for your advice and support, couldnt/wouldnt have done it with this site. :welcome2:
 
Top dog. Theres nothing like having it in bits and then turning the key and alls ok.
Kepp checking for air locks. Its a bummer to get all the air out. Have a beer then plan that other job you spotted whilst everything was in bits. Arrr Its a marmite car !

Excellent news, this makes me want to get my rrc back on the road asap but I just can't afford to mot and tax them both in the same month, oh well it'll have to wait tell next month.
