Got my first landy

So ive got my first landy two days ago. Its a freelander 1.8 petrol 2000. Ive heard alot of bad things about these but only since i got it. Ive always wanted a landy so when i got the chance i got it. Should have looked into it more first but hey ho. Whats peoples opinions on these?

engine,s crap prone for headgaskets.
what sort of mileage has is done
when was the cam,belt changed

have a read in the freelander section, should get some good pointers

Hello. Head gaskets are made from cheap chocolate I hear

so maybe check if that's been changed before you go to far in it. Other than that have fun.

Welcome if head gasket goes they do a heavy duty one now mate got one on his Freelander
