Got my first defender.. now needs some bits!

Arite guys,

Ended up getting a 200Tdi 1992 truckcab, its a solid, sound vehicle, or seems to be at the moment, just looks a bit tatty with odd bits of corrosion around the panels.

A mate is going to respray it over Christmas and im looking to get some new decals for it. Just the defender 90 one off the back and the tdi ones off the side.. Any ideas where i can get original ones? Seen some on ebay but they dont look original.

Also, i need to put a reverse light back onto it. Instead of replacing it with another square one, i was going to get the round ones, like off the td5s.. are there likely to be any snags with fitting these?

Also looking for an ifor williams back.. Obviously there are some on ebay but i dont fancy driving too far in a landy to get it!

Do a search on google for NAS light upgrade because they guy that did that also put on TD5 reverse lights. He shows photos of the whole process.

Cant see any links which show the process.. Im guessing then that its not just a matter of snipping the old one and connecting the new one?

Where abouts are you? If its the right price then it may be worth the trip, otherwise i will hang on for one nearer.. As east mids airport is about 140 miles from me..

We have family (wifes parents etc) in Eastwood so could perhaps pick it up and save it in Doncaster if that'd help ?

Well, its a bit addictive, tinkering with it and wanting to improve it.. I nearly got it stuck in a seriously boggy field the other night.. could have been embarrassing!

if you go to the later round lamps you need to replace the jack plugs snip 2 wires and replace
