Got my Disco today, should it have? A few questions/Help

HI,
Got my Disco 2003 GS TD5 Auto home today and need some advice before I make a t*t of myself with the dealer.

Should a GS have power fold mirrors as standard?

Should it have Active Cornering Enhancement as standard?

Have to say I am chuffed to bits with it, drives well and gets a shimmy on too and I cannot make it smoke whatever I do!!

So far hats off to the dealer too, got a list with it of what they did after the PDI, considering it was only serviced 600 miles ago and MOT is until July 2015.
- Did another service
- Replaced the rear disc pads
- Replaced one front wheel bearing
- 2 New tyres
- Coated the chassis and underneath with protective coating
- Replaced the rear step spring.

I hope this good start continues but miffed about the mirrors and worried that the ACE may be there and not functioning, but I am no mechanic.

Hope someone can help.
 
Look under the bonnet, the power steering reservior, two caps should have ACE, one cap no ACE.

To test find a roundabout and take it fast, if it rolls at a low speed no ACE, if it stays flat ond only leans at a speed which feels too fast for an off roader, it has working ACE

Another test is a steep side slope as it locks up then.
 
When looking under the bonnet, if it's got ACE, then there should be a pump & pulley to the right of the aircon pump. If there's just an idler pulley then ACE has been bypassed. Have a look behind the driver's side front wheel - ACE will have a hydraulic ram next to the anti roll bar. It might still be there even if the system's been bypassed ;)
 
Thanks all, great advice, now confirmed ACE not fitted to my model, quite pleased really. Bit miffed about the mirrors but hardly crucial, will use as a bargaining chip witht he dealer as their advert said it has them.

Re the ACE system, you need to look in the engine bay, to the RH side there is a reservoir for the powered steering and IF it has ACE there will be a compartment in this bottle for the ACE fluid.

It is not at all unknown for the ACE system to be removed - aftermarket - due to reliability issues.
