happened to me years ago, I was in my last series 3 and pulled up at an island, this lass in her new VW golf Gti didnt.
Golf 0
LR tow ball 1
bad news was i had to repaint the tow hitch and rear crossmember cos of the paint from the vw.
 
That's a corker! I would've loved to have seen the bugger's face :D

Best get your chassis alignment checked though.....just in case.
 
Yer are insurance company are being very good as my 22 week preg wife and 18 month son where in there so big hosp trip made sure we r all ok just stiff. Insurance r goin to get it to a landy dealer to see what's happened I do have a bit of soft bit on the chassis at the back so hopefully that ain't buggered. Shud be getting a new disco courtosy car though :D old guy who hit us was well ****ed cos I drove home he had to wait for a recovery lol
 
I had someone do that to me on a roundabout in Colchester. Problem was, I was on a pushbike. Ouch!
