But it needs an upgraded radiator as the old one for the 4 cylinder engine isn’t coping at all well.

Anyone got a series Landy on here with a rover v8 in it that has a radiator that copes ok? Any recommendations?

Ive seen an aftermarket upgrade radiator specific for series landys with v8 conversions but they’re a lot of money. Just seeing what my options are.

My v8 is a 3.5 litre from a rr classic 1984.

Thank you

P.

I have another thread on here that’s related to my whole overheating scenario.

Cheers for this. Yes I've fitted a new standard rad but still haven't managed to route the bottom hose properly. In the process of that at he mo. I'm hoping that the efficency of a new radiator, despite being too small for the job, might get me out of jail. The old one was knackered. Plus I've got the electric fans working correctly now. Fingers crossed.

Dont stand still. I fitted an extra mechanical fan, on top of the electrical. Have to run the heater all the time if trafic is slow. My neighbour who is a mechanical wizard says my original radiator must be partially blocked. Im not sure.

At idle and ambient temp at 24c like today, it creeps up to the mid of red, which is about 92c (top hose) on mine. And stays there. Think its too high.

If you find a "double" radiator somewhere let me know 👍🌼
