Hey gang.

Did some driving landrovers in the forces.

Now I'm looking at buying one for real.

The one I've set my eye on is a white coloured 110.
1994 with the 200 series engine in it.
Winch and roof rack and ladder.
88,000 miles on it and FSH and 3 months warrenty.

Should I get an RAC inspector to do his thing?

Any pointers or tips. Is this model a good one or ought I be better getting a newer one with all the electrical gizmo stuff.

According to wiki. The 200s were the last of the 'easy' to do your own work on before it became all diagnostic tools and fancy **** like that etc.

Cheers.

Sorted mota's

Rust and a general component checks if everything checks out good then go for it. I would suggest you take a landy person with you to give it the once over tho. Chassis can be badly rusted as can parts of the bulkhead. Obvious stuff like oil leaks and Timing belt intervals are well worth checking. 200's are strong engines but I would really take somone with you if you get the chance. Jai
