Good radiator?

Here we go - before and after:

Done at cost price by Applied Radiators in Stoke. They even delivered it to me. The soldering on the end tanks is top notch - really smooth and even. Very happy.

That looks lovely, will be far superior and let linger than the ally and plastic aftermarket crap.

Good choice that man.

Out of curiosity... it looks like the original or is it completely new, you hand in the old one and that's your replacement.

It's the original - you hand in the old one and they de-solder it to take the end tanks off the centre core, solder in a new centre core, reassemble and repaint. If they've got a donor radiator in stock, then I think they use that - has the advantage that you're not without a radiator for any longer than it takes to drop off your old one and pick up the new one - but in this case they only had a 200tdi donor and not a 300tdi, so they reworked the one I supplied.

Hey reworked mine, when I picked it up they let me watch them rework someone else’s, the dipped it all in a big vat of something when it was in bits to clean it, then they reassembled. Was fascinating to watch, a real craft tbh

Nope stangely enough it was the first thing I noticed then twigged pic was upside down, sadly I notice stuff like that, stuff not square, how many celing tiles in a room and so on!

Sounds as if your as sad as I am.......
Being an ex joiner/cabinet maker I can't sit anywhere without noticing the finish (or lack of) on doors/windows/furniture etc.
