Couple 3-4 years ago Land rover magazine did a travel the uk by green lanes from north to south and east to westI think this is dreadful, but not everyone agrees

The mud muppets will love it.
I'm really not keen in pointing out locations to all and sundry. Publicity of locations in the likes of LRO have already shown that leads to huge numbers on sensitive lanes over a short time period with no thought to surface conditions.
If that period coincides with wet weather lanes may never recover.
My other big issue with it is checking legality....and more importantly, how to is barely mentioned.
