Cynical fooker.

Just out of curiosity, why not paddocks?
Im just about to order a load of odds n sods from them as they post over here for a fiver...

I've been looking for a pair of front mud-flaps for ages. They're normally about 30 quid, but I've seen them sell on flea-bay for £47 ffs!
Anyways, I got an e-mail newsletter from Craddocks on Tuesday and they've got them on special offer at £19.99.
I ordered a pair on-line on Wednesday evening and they arrived this morning.

Can't complain about that.

Never had any problems with Paddocks either.

Does anyone, or has anyone, on this site actually worked in the auto trade? It seems like one massive joke in here when it come's to spares and prices. You all seem to pay over the top prices for everything you ask for. Seems as though none of you have mates in the trade.

Surprisingly some of us don't have mates in the trade and unfortunately have to pay over the odds , no need to be so smug:p

Having said that i do have mates in the air freight trade, the army, metropolitan police force, and the soup manufacturing trade.
so if ever I need to fly anywhere and fight a war under police escort, and come back home to something to warm me up, I've got no probs.

You're made mate.
If I had a friend who could get me lentil and bacon soup, fresh, as and when I wanted.
Well, he'd stay on my christmas card list.
I once had a friend who made knock off head and shoulders for market stalls to flog. Never buy it.

Fortunately ( some would say unfortunately ) I've not needed shampoo fer years, if yer know anybody who does cheep Mach 3's however, I'd be larfin.

Don't bother with Craddocks on line, awdful website unless you know exactly the part No of the item you want. I use Rimmers site to identify the part No. for Defenders and then use Paddocks or DLS (Derbyshire Land Rover Supplies), but personally I prefer to buy spares from Steve or Gary at Wye Valley Garage but I guess they're a bit far from you. The Land Rover Orphanage is also very good.

I don't know why you say "not Paddocks" but I wish I'd seen this b4 I used em.

I phoned and asked for five wheel nuts. The guy asked the model took the card details. Next day wrong nut are deliverred 'from the manufacturer'. My car has roughly 18 mm studs these were roughly 14mm nuts.

I e mailed the sales line. No reply.

I phoned. The female said, "that's the right part number". I told her it was a weel nut, a lump of metal with a threaded hole and it was wrong. She asked a colleague and repeated "that's the right part number".

I e mailed again, quoting the stupid phone call. No reply.

I printed off both e mails and sent them with a cover letter. No reply to that either.

Unfortunately paid with switch so I can't even ask bank to refund. They must be the worst company I've used in a long time.

I took a random shot on a google search and tried, I got a brilliant bloke on the phone, knew the part numbers off his head, I'd got for a TD5 or Range Rover? the proper ones were deliverd couple of days later.

Not got the paperwork here but think it was Buckley Brothers. Had my ignition lock fail too last week, again spot on, right part deliverd couple of days. Brilliant.
