Was talking to a mate of mine today who is in the tyre business, he said general grabber are bringing the AT2 old pattern back in the 18". About 3 months until their back on the shelf. He also thinks their gonna be at a premium, & that general tires discontinued them on purpose only to bring them back @ a much higher price bracket. Who knows, only time will tell.

So did I. But if they done it to hike prices up, then they will tell you any bull****. I have had this information from a really good source by the way. So I believe the EU thing was absolute nonsense.

never really had much to with gneral tyres, until i put some on the front of my disco last october, General Grabber HTS 255/65 R16 H (109) 2 tyres fitted/balanced and valves for £190.00 must admit pretty good tyres
perform well in the wet, don't make any road noise in the dry, and yes did alright in the snow, what bit we got,

I heard the EU noise thing as well. I was running on 18 inch Grabber ATs. Came tyre change last month and I thought I would have to go for a new brand of 18 inch ATs. My supplier had no problem getting the "Old" style Grabber ATs. Said they have never been discontinued and he has been fitting them for years. His computer showed over 50 in stock.
